Painting!

I have picked up painting again!

This is something I have been trying to get back into, and I have tried on and off for the past few years. When you cant get what is in your head onto a paper or canvas, it can be very frustrating. I can so easily do it on paper with pencil and pen, but that is with decades of practice. (I'm 34, and have been doing art since I was little. So I'm a little old LOL) It can be so easy to just go back to your comfort medium, but always go back to try new ones! I am so happy I tried again.

I happened to watch the Bob Ross documentary, and it inspired me to try again. With the help of things I've seen on tik tok, and some of my fellow artists, I can feel I am getting techniques down. Also, the quality of paint definitely matters! WOW. So far I have only gotten into watercolor, gouache, and acrylics. I definitely need to try oil paints. My goal this year is to use every one of my canvases, and to do one very big canvas! (Not sure yet where I will put it to work on it lol)

On another note, still trying to figure out making stickers. The Cricut is difficult to get dialed in, and I have been having problems getting it to cut right. I am sure I will get it figured out! I am also trialing out products for packaging. I want to have all my little ducks in a row before I start firing them off online! As always, thank you for reading, and I hope you have a great day!
