Big Canvas Time!
Did some art supply shopping!
When Michael's has a buy 3 get 3 sale on canvases, its time to go shopping! I’ve been wanting to do some big paintings, so I took advantage of their sale! Three 24x36, one 24x48, and two 30x40! Super excited to get to work!
On top of that, we had a bunch of old paintings that we decided to paint over! Now I have 20 canvases to go to town on lol! I’ve already done 4 and have two I’m currently working on. Waiting on my projector so I can project sketches onto the canvas for getting proportions!
These may be big canvases, but my goal for this year is to not only use all the canvases I have laying around, but to do one very large canvas! Only problem, that can get expensive. So I am currently shopping around, and possible making my own frames and stretching canvas myself. I want to make something at least 5'x5'. I have some time to figure it out. But for now, I'll practice on these!
